Message from the President: Career assistance
July 14, 2009
To our alums:
I hope this finds you enjoying a wonderful summer, one surrounded by family and friends.
The purpose of this alumni update is to let you know about an important college resource that you may not be aware of.
As the economy struggles to recover, we know that both newly graduated and not-so-newly graduated alumni find themselves looking for employment. To help in your search, I want to make you aware of the many services offered to alums through the college’s Career Service area. Jerry Donahue, director of career services, and his staff are ready and willing to help you find a great new professional opportunity.
To learn about these offerings, check out the newly enhanced Career Services alumni web site at http://www.snc.edu/career/alumni/.
At the same time, be sure to register for Career Connections, the St. Norbert College online job posting system. All employers seeking to connect with St. Norbert students and alums are directed to use this online system http://www.myinterfase.com/snc/student/.
You can also follow Career Services on Twitter http://twitter.com/snccareers.
And finally, feel free to schedule an appointment with a career counselor by calling 920-403-3040 or e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your alma mater’s concern for you doesn’t stop at commencement -- as we have said before, this is a lifelong relationship. Good luck with your job search and in the brighter days that await us all.
