CPT Anthony E. Perrizo is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Psychology, and from Webster University in 2012 with a Master of Arts in Business and Organizational Security Management.

CPT Perrizo served as a civilian police officer in his home state for two years prior to receiving his commission as a military police officer through the Officer Candidate School in July of 2008. His military education includes the Military Police Officer Basic Course, Military Captain’s Career Course, Special Reaction Team Training Phase 1, Special Reaction Team Training Phase 2 and the Anti-Terrorism Officer Basic Course.

CPT Perrizo’s previous assignments include Company Commander, 116th Military Police Company, 97th Military Police Battalion, 89th Military Police Brigade, Fort Riley, KS; Assistant S3 Plans Officer, HHC, 4th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Polk, LA; Company Executive Officer, ACO, 4th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Polk, LA; Military Police Platoon Leader, HHC, Special Troops Battalion, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Polk, LA.

CPT Perrizo’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal (OLC), the Army Achievement Medal (OLC), the National Defense Service Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon, the NATO ISAF Medal, the Valorous Unit Commendation, the Meritorious Unit Commendation, and the Combat Action Badge. CPT Perrizo deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom 10-11.
