Ben is an assistant professor of business administration who arrived at St. Norbert in 2014. He recently receieved his Doctor of Business Administration in Management from St. Ambrose University where his dissertation was titled, “Employer Support: An Investigation of the Effect on Organizational Attraction.” His research interests include human resource issues in public accounting, training and development, and issues in accounting education. In addition to presenting at regional and national conferences, his recent article, “Gen Y in Public Accouting: A Conceptual Model of Retention,” was published in Advances in Business Reseach. 

Prior to coming to St. Norbert College, he taught at St. Mary’s University and St. Ambrose University for 13 years.  A native of Alta Vista, Iowa, he enjoys spending free time with his wife and daughter. He is an avid golfer and fan of all sports, especially the Minnesota Twins and the Iowa Hawkeyes.
