Jason J. Haen

Assistant Professor of Accounting

B.B.A., Accounting, St. Norbert College
M.B.A., University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh

Programs: Accounting, Master of Business Administration

My experiences as an accountant and CPA range from an entry-level cost accountant, to public accounting, to the CFO of a not-for-profit. My diverse background allows me to bring various concrete examples of topics into the classroom.

My experiences have taught me many valuable lessons. One of the most important is that in order to be successful in any profession, including accounting, a person must be able to communicate. A scary thought for some accountants!

Research Interests
My research interests include ethics and the CPA exam. I expect both of these topics to shape much of what I do within and outside of the classroom for many years to come.
