Kim Kaczmarowski

Instructor and Director of Human Services Program
Sociology920-403-2935

St. Norbert College alumna Kim Kaczmarowski pulls double duty as a sociology instructor and the college’s director of human services. She regularly teaches courses in the human services minor and oversees the internship placement process of students. Her social work practice experiences include medical social work, individual and family counseling, adoption social work, divorce mediation, community support social work with chronically mentally ill and program coordination.

Kaczmarowski's recent research examined the intersection of DACA and related state-level immigration policy on undocumented childhood arrivals' perceptions of their social exclusion. This can be reflected in their educational access, employment opportunities and perceptions of belonging in Wisconsin. This research is a qualitative inquiry demonstrating layered contexts of reception at federal, state, institutional and local levels.
