Linda Wanless

English as a Second Language Office Manager

B.A., St. Norbert College

Linda Wanless started as the ESL office manager in January 1999 after first working as a part-time ESL instructor. She earned her B.A. in English in 1988 and has taught middle school, high school and college-level students.

Linda's international experiences include living and working in Israel and Japan, and short-term volunteer work in Mexico as well as extensive travel abroad. These opportunities have given Linda a passion to welcome international students to her alma mater. She is a courageous problem solver when helping students navigate life at SNC and adjust to living in the U.S.

Outside of the office, Linda volunteers with CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) assisting Brown County's Emergency Management. She also volunteers at Camp Daniel and Able Church encouraging the disability community. Any other free time is spent with her family and friends.
