Marcie Paul is associate professor of Spanish and has been at St. Norbert College since 1984. A specialist in contemporary Latin American narrative, she regularly teaches the Survey of Latin American Literature and a senior capstone course entitled “Mexico: From the Revolution to the Present.” She is currently teaching a new course on Contemporary Hispanic Cinema.
Dr. Paul’s research interests include metaphysical detective fiction and the Mexican “Crack” writers. She most recently presented papers at the Kentucky Foreign Language Conference and at the University of Ireland, Galway, and authored a chapter in a new volume of essays entitled "Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian Detective Fiction" (2006).
