Michael Olson is a nuclear/particle physicist and an assistant professor of physics at St. Norbert College. His research involves the fundamental nature of the strong nuclear force and electroweak unification. He has participated in numerous experiments at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) and the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab).

Olson is interested in applying aspects of his research, including microprocessor-based data acquisition and computational modeling, toward the development of new advanced laboratory experiments at SNC.
