Seong-Kyung Graham, a native of South Korea, received her Bachelor of Music degree from Sungshin Women’s University in Seoul before moving to the United States in 1989. After earning her Master of Music degree at the University of North Texas, she pursued additional graduate studies in conducting at the University of Illinois and the College Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati.

Ms. Graham has a wide range of conducting experience with orchestras, chamber ensembles and choirs. Currently, she is the music director of the Civic Symphony of Green Bay since 2005. Previously, she served as the music director of Fox Valley Symphony Youth Orchestra, Ripon Orchestra at Ripon College, and Bradley Chamber Orchestra at Bradley University. She also guest conducted with the Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra, Oshkosh Symphony Orchestra and All Star Symphony Orchestra in previous years. In addition, she was the assistant conductor of Lawrence Symphony Orchestra at Lawrence University, Concert Orchestra and Repertory Orchestra at the University of Cincinnati, Starling Showcase Orchestra in Cincinnati, Opera Theater of Luca in Italy, and Illini Orchestra at the University of Illinois. Academically, she taught in the music department at Ripon College as a visiting instructor of music for 10 years, and has taught at St. Norbert College and Illinois Wesleyan University.
