New Student ChecklistThere are so many things to do once you select your college of choice, it can be a bit overwhelming. We’re here to help you stay on track with what you need to do.
Secure Your Place in the Class
Submit your enrollment deposit.
Register for Housing
After you’ve submitted your deposit, you can register for housing, assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Register for Orientation
Starting February 1, first-year students can register for summer orientation, a two-day event in June. International and transfer students will receive more information in the future months.
Complete the Writing Placement Essay
To be placed in the correct writing-intensive class at St. Norbert, all students will need to complete a timed essay on one of two topics.
Academic Honor Code
Read and submit the Honor Code Pledge Card to confirm your intent to perform with academic integrity.
Declare Your Major
Submit the Program Declaration Form. You can use this form to update your planned course of study throughout your four years at St. Norbert. (It's a form we ask all students to use, even if they're undecided about their choices at this time.)
Complete Census Information
Submit the Race and Ethnicity Declaration Form. The government asks all colleges to provide them with this information.
Request your final high school transcripts after you’ve graduated, and any college transcripts, prior to summer orientation. Your school can send those directly to the admission office.
Provide your health history, immunization and insurance information prior to summer orientation so we can partner in your health care.
Sign up for your meal plan, and prepare to enjoy some tasty food.
