Chris Betcher joined the staff  of the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations in 2005 and is now the Assistant Director for Regional Communities. Her primary responsibilities include organizing events for alumni, friends and families of the College to come together and reconnect with each other.

Larger events like Reunion, Family Weekend and Alumni College give Chris a wonderful opportunity to meet and work with many alumni, parents  and volunteers each year. The variety of people and activities are what Chris enjoys most about her position.

Chris also serves on the Parents Council and works with Summer Orientation, focusing on the new roles parents play as their children attend college.

Chris began her tenure with St. Norbert College in 2001 in the Residential Life Office . There she was responsible for new student placement, summer orientation and numerous administrative duties.

Chris enjoys her roles as advisor for the Alpha Xi Delta sorority and the First Year Experience program (FYE).

Chris lives in De Pere with her husband Bob and their youngest child Joe. Two of the Betchers, Pat and Kelsey are out on their own.
