John Rankin has proudly been with College Advancement since September of 2002, working part time as a Senior Advancement Officer. John focuses his energies on alumni and friends of St. Norbert College who are located in Wisconsin, although he does meet with a number of donors who are scattered throughout the United States.
Prior to coming to St. Norbert College, he spent nineteen years in the banking industry and nearly half of this time he served as a bank president in the Fox Cities. In the 1990's, he was CEO of a large medical system headquartered in the Fox Cities.
John is very active in the community. He has served on the board of directors of more than 25 organizations, often as the chairperson. He has taught part time at five Wisconsin universities in the areas of Accounting and Finance. And, he hosted a local cable television show for almost fifteen years. John and his wife Francine have four children, three of whom attended St. Norbert College in the 1990's. Currently, they have a son at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. They also have one young, precious grandson. |
