SNC Hockey Frozen Four Tournament

The St. Norbert College men’s hockey team appeared once again in the NCAA Division III Ice Hockey Championships, and faced off against Oswego State on Saturday, March 17, at the Wessman Arena in Superior, Wisconsin. This was the fourth time the St. Norbert hockey team has appeared in the “Frozen Four” in the past five years. In 2004, and 2006 they finished as national runner-up twice. Although the Green Knights fought hard to get there there again in 2007, they fell short in overtime with a final score of 4-3. The team should be commended for a great season, finishing 25-4-2. Fans attended a free pre-game “Fan Festival Tailgate Party,” sponsored by the tournament’s host, University of Wisconsin-Superior.
