Union League Art Event

The Union League Club of Chicago was the venue for art tours and a reception on March 1, 2007. The Club is home to one of the largest privately held collections of art in the region, but it was truly the camaraderie of the extended St. Norbert Community that was priceless. About 70 guests (alumni, friends, faculty and staff) gathered to re-connect with the College and with one another. The highlights of the evening included art tours of personally selected artwork led by the SNC art faculty – Fr. James Neilson ’88, Jessica Jacobs and Bill Bohne. Alums from 1971 to 2006 were able to learn about the work of well known artists, while being made aware of a few secrets of the lesser known works as well. Guests found out what was going on in De Pere, retold some favorite stories and even made some new friends and acquaintances. A great time had by all!
