Become a part of the PRIDE Initiative!

St. Norbert Alumni are invited to play a role in various activities the PRIDE initiative has to offer - you don't even have to be on campus to help out! The following provides more information on PRIDE, and various ways to take part in the initiative. Our alumni volunteer form is also available for you to submit. Once submitted, staff from the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations will be in touch with you.

Promote St. Norbert College through conversation, St. Norbert attire, window stickers - any way you can.
A recent alumni survey showed that 94% of alumni take pride in their St. Norbert degree. Put that PRIDE into action by helping promote the College. If you don't have an alumni window sticker for your car, stop by the Alumni House to pick one up. In need of new SNC apparel? Visit the online store, the online bookstore or stop by the bookstore on your next visit to campus.

Assist with the recruitment of quality students.
Who knows St. Norbert better than our alumni? We need your help recruiting new students. Tell high school students and their parents about us. Enlist your relatives or bring your own children for a campus tour. If you know great students who would be perfect at St. Norbert, let us know by contacting the Office of Admissions or completing the online referral form. In appreciation for your efforts, their application fee will be waived.

Become involved with alumni initiatives and events.
Haven't been back to campus recently? We have some great reasons to come back! Annual events like Reunion, Spiritual Retreat, and Alumni College are just a few of the activities on campus that bring alumni home. Check out all of the current alumni events!

Share your time, energy, and financial resources to help keep the legacy of St. Norbert College going strong.
97% of St. Norbert College students receive some form of aid and the St. Norbert Fund is exclusively dedicated to providing annual aid to students. Every dollar contributed to the St. Norbert Fund has a direct impact on students.

Employ our students as well as our alumni and share your professional expertise.
As a mentor, students and alumni will contact you for information that will help them make decisions about majors, career fields, and strategies for finding employment, internships, or gaining admission to graduate/professional school. Your role then is simply to answer questions based on your knowledge and experience.

For example, students and alumni may be interested in learning about:

• your day-to-day "on the job" responsibilities
• what you enjoy and don't enjoy about your responsibilities or career field
• academic major(s) and graduate/professional programs you have completed
• the career paths you've pursued
• current trends and issues in your field
• suggestions on how they might best prepare for specific career field
• the value of a liberal arts degree in the world of work
• any advice you might have regarding internships, job search strategies, and graduate and professional school

Volunteer to be a resource for alumni and students by applying to become a Career Contact Mentor.
Please note that registering as a mentor does not allow you to search the Career Contact database. A separate registration is required to search the database.
