William Falk graduated from St. Norbert in 2008 with a degree in communication, media and theater, and an academic minor in leadership studies. As a student at St. Norbert College, William was a very involved and passionate student leader. He was influential in the First-Year Experience Program, summer orientation, Resident Hall Association, Student Government Association, to name a few. His senior year, William expanded his involvement by serving terms as a student representative to the college’s board of trustees, student commencement speaker and student body president. Upon graduation, William joined college advancement as assistant director of alumni communities.
He was appointed assistant director of alumni and student programs. January, 2011. This position focused on developing programs which included student philanthropy, alumni interviews conducted by students, class agent programs, and alumni/student mentoring.
William completed his graduate studies receiving a degree in nonprofit management and philanthropy from the University of Northern Iowa. After his graduate studies, Billy was promoted to associate director of alumni and parent relations. In this role, he manages administrative functions of the office and develops, implements and evaluates a number of programs.
William continuously reflects on his personal values and the visions and experiences he encountered at St. Norbert College. He applauds the college for setting him on the path that has allowed him to develop the skills and talent to recognize his goals.
