Vote Coach Jim Purtill for "Coach of the Year Award"
The Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year is awarded to the college football coach who best demonstrates sportsmanship, integrity, responsibility, and excellence on and off the field.
In 2008, Liberty Mutual will name a Coach of the Year in each NCAA division. The award process will take place over the course of the college football season, and fan votes will influence the outcome.
Each winning coach gets $50,000 to donate to one or more charitable organizations of the coach's choice and a $20,000 grant to donate to his school’s alumni association to enhance student scholarships and activities.
To vote for Coach Purtill once you're on the Liberty Mutual web site, click "vote now," and then select Jim Purtill and St. Norbert College from the drop-down menus. Voters can vote once per day until December 6, 2008 when polls close and the finalists are evaluated by members of the national media and the Football Hall of Fame.
