Schudrowitz Advances to Finals of NCAA Outdoor 800-Meter Run

BEREA, Ohio - St. Norbert College sophomore Emily Schudrowitz qualified for the finals of the 800-meter run at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship held at Baldwin-Wallace College.

Schudrowitz ran a time of 2 minutes 11.41 seconds to finish second in her heat. Schudrowitz, who won the NCAA Division III Indoor 800-meter title in March, has the fifth-best time run during the trials among the eight-person finals. The College of New Jersey's Meryl Wimberley ran the best trial time, running a time of 2:10.28.

The 800-meter final will be run at 1:50 p.m. CDT Saturday.
