St. Norbert Splits to Open Aurora Tournament

AURORA, Ill. - St. Norbert College split a pair of matches against College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin foes to open the first day of the Aurora University Jim Coleman Memorial Tournament.

The Green Knights (5-1) lost to Millikin University 25-23, 25-13, 25-16 in their opener but bounced back to top North Central College 25-21, 25-16, 25-17.

Against Millikin, Lindsay Wiebe had seven kills, while Catherine Guido had 19 digs. Emily Rohde added 12 assists.

Against North Central, Guido led the way from the back row with 27 digs. Rohde set up the offense with 27 assists. Mary Kate Manion had a team-high eight kills while adding 12 digs. Sarah Sulentic chipped in with seven kills and four blocks.

St. Norbert finishes the tournament Saturday with Aurora and Calumet College of St. Joseph.
