Green Knights Win Twice at Aurora Tournament

AURORA, Ill. - St. Norbert College won its two matches at the Aurora University Jim Coleman Memorial Tournament to finish the two-day event with a 3-1 record.

The Green Knights (7-1) beat Aurora University 25-22, 25-14, 25-18 and then topped Calumet College of St. Joseph 25-18, 25-7, 25-27, 25-15.

Against Aurora, Lauren Meehan had 12 kills and 19 digs. Catherine Guido also had 19 digs, while Abby West finished with 25 assists and 12 digs.

Against Calumet, Meehan had 10 kills and 23 digs. Guido had 15 digs out of the back row, and Sarah Sulentic had 10 kills and five blocks.

St. Norbert will face perennial national power UW-Oshkosh at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Schuldes Sports Center.
