Green Knights Split Against MWC South Division Foes

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College split a pair of dual matches against Midwest Conference South Division opponents at Lake Forest College.
The Green Knights (2-1) lost 6-3 to Lake Forest College before rebounding to beat Knox College 9-0.
Against Lake Forest, St. Norbert picked up one doubles point when Maria Slusarek and Laura Michel beat Aimee Fadden and Deepika Ramachandran 9-7 at No. 2. Callie Schroeder then beat Fadden 6-4, 6-1 at No. 3 singles and Michel beat Natalie Atroshenko 6-2, 6-3 at No. 6.
St. Norbert easily handled Knox in the nightcap, not losing a set. Ariel Bloniarz had the widest margin of win in singles action, beating Emily Tyl 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5. Brittany Dudzik beat Sarah Bolitho 6-0, 6-2 at No. 6, and Anna Reardon topped Rachel Clark 6-2, 6-3 at No. 4. Slusarek topped Megan Funk 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2.
Slusarek and Michel had an 8-2 win over Jordan Kuban and Clark 8-2 at No. 2 doubles.
