St. Norbert Places Seventh at Marian Invitational

FOND DU LAC - St. Norbert College placed seventh in the 10-team Marian University Invitational held at Whispering Springs Golf Club.

The Green Knight carded a 668, shooting a 325 the first day before battling to a 343 on day two. Lakeland College won the meet with a 644. Lakeland's Gary Petit was the individual meet champion with an 8-over par 152.

St. Norbert was led by Brandon Gries, who shot an 81-82--163 to finish 15th. Jacob Hebbard was tied for 27th with teammate Nic Vrubley. Hebbard shot an 81-88--169, while Vrubley carded a 79-90--169.

Ryan Clark finished in a tie for 36th with an 89-83--172, while B.J. O'Brien was tied for 48th with an 84-95--179.
