Green Knights Split on First Day of UW-Platteville Tournament

PLATTEVILLE - St. Norbert College opened the UW-Platteville Tournament with a split of two matches. The Green Knights topped Dominican University in five sets and lost to Platteville in four sets.

St. Norbert beat Dominican 20-25, 25-18, 25-19, 21-25, 15-12. The Green Knights then fell to the Pioneers 21-25, 25-18, 25-9, 25-13.

Against Dominican, Lauren Meehan had 14 kills and 20 digs. Sarah Sulentic added 14 kills and three blocks, while Catherine Guido added 34 digs. Abby West added 28 assists.

Against Platteville, Danielle Remy had six kills and three blocks, while Sulentic had five kills and seven blocks. Emily Rohde had 20 assists and Guido netted 18 digs.

St. Norbert, 11-4 on the season and 1-1 in the tournament, will face Edgewood College and UW-Stout on Saturday
