Green Knights Shut Out by Lake Forest

DE PERE - St. Norbert College dropped its Midwest Conference opener with a 3-0 loss to Lake Forest College at the Minahan Stadium Complex.

The Green Knights trailed 2-0 at halftime and couldn't generate enough scoring chances to get back into the game, finishing the match with seven shots - with just one on goal.

Jordan Hartman and Mahir Mameledzija scored in the match's first 14 minutes for a 2-0 Foresters' lead, and Hartman scored in the 58th minute to put the match away.

Noah Davis finished with four saves for St. Norbert, while Tom Biesiada had one save for Lake Forest.

Lake Forest held an 11-7 shots advantage, and corner kicks were even at 4-4.
