St. Norbert Ekes Out Road Win Over Grinnell

GRINNELL, Iowa - St. Norbert College picked up its biggest win of the season with a 1-0 Midwest Conference win over traditional rival Grinnell College at Springer Field.

The Green Knights, who snapped a modest two-game losing streak, improved to 3-7 overall and 2-2 in the MWC.

Katherine Larson's goal 13 minutes 59 seconds into the game provided the game's only scoring. Larson's first goal of the season came unassisted.

St. Norbert outshot Grinnell 14-12 and also held an 8-3 advantage in corner kicks. Cara Tazioli made seven saves to post the shutout for St. Norbert. Laura McElroy made three saves in the first half for the Pioneers, while Jordan Young made five stops in the second half.
