Green Knights Lose Heartbreaker at Grinnell

GRINNELL, Iowa - St. Norbert College dropped its fourth one-goal match of the season with a 1-0 Midwest Conference loss to Grinnell College at Springer Field.

St. Norbert fell to 2-7 overall and 0-3 in the Midwest Conference. Grinnell improved to 4-4-2, 2-0.

The Pioneers' Mark Rosenberg connected on a penalty kick at the 24 minute 2 seconds mark for the game's only goal.

St. Norbert outshot Grinnell 14-11 for the match, including 10-8 in the second half. The Green Knights also held the edge in corner kicks 5-4, while fouls were even at 8-8.

Greg Fox made six saves for Grinnell to post the shutout, and the Pioneers' defense also had a team save. Noah Davis made one save for the Green Knights.
