Green Knights Place Sixth at MWC Championship

ROCKFORD, Ill. - The St. Norbert College women's golf team placed sixth at the 2010 Midwest Conference Championship held at Aldeen Golf Club.

The Green Knights shot a 1,299 over the 54-hole event. Carroll University won the conference championship with a 1,077. Illinois College's Juliann Papesch won the individual championship with a 33-over par 252.

St. Norbert was led by a 23rd-place finish by Alexis Klinger, who shot a 99-103-101--303. Jessica Rodgers was 29th with a 119-112-104--335, and Alliston Kasten was 30th with a 112-120-107--339. Erin Treankler rounded out the top for with a 136-145-128--409 to place 38th.
