Green Knights Finish 18th at Wartburg Invitational

WAVERLY, Iowa - St. Norbert College placed 18th out of 25 teams at the Wartburg College Dan Huston Pre-Nationals Meet.

The Green Knights totaled 455 points. UW-Whitewater won the meet with 73 points, and Colorado College was second with 139 points.

Alex DeVillers had St. Norbert's best showing with a 38th-place finish in a time of 26 minutes 59 seconds. Seth Hawkins was 80th with a time of 28:03, while James Gilbertson was 100th in 28:37.

Matt Reynders finished 113th in 28:54, and Nathan Heppe rounded out the Green Knights' scoring in 29:11 for a 124th-place finish.

Benny Swift was 125th with a time of 29:19, and Brady Bemis was 127th with a time of 29:21.

A total of 292 runners competed.
