DE PERE - Mike Burmesch's goal with 20 minutes remaining was all St. Norbert College would need to post a 1-0 Midwest Conference win over Illinois College at Kolstad Field at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights improved to 5-9 overall and 3-3 in the MWC, while the Blueboys fell to 3-12, 1-5.

Burmesch pushed in a loose ball off an assist from Nick Anderson at the 70 minute mark for the game's lone goal. It was Burmesch's eighth goal of the season.

St. Norbert held a commanding 20-2 advantage in shots, but the Blueboys were kept in the game by goalkeeper Trevor Donahue. Donahue made three difficult saves in the game, including two in the first 20 minutes of the game, to keep Illinois College within range.

Noah Davis made one save for St. Norbert. Corner kicks were even at 5-5.
