Pentek Paces Men's Thinclads at UWSP Invite

STEVENS POINT - Jeff Pentek led the St. Norbert College men's track and field team to a seventh-place finish at the UW-Stevens Point Invitational.

The Green Knights, running just a small group at the meet, had 26 points to place seventh among 16 teams. UW-Stevens Point won the meet with 165.5 points.

Pentek claimed the only men's winner for St. Norbert, winning the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:12.97.

St. Norbert added a pair of second-place finishes to round out its scoring. Dann Schneider was second in the 400-meter run with a time of 50.09 seconds, while Paul Leeman added a runner-up in the triple jump with a distance of 43 feet 6.5 inches.
