St. Norbert Finishes 19th at NCAA Midwest Regional

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - St. Norbert College finished 19th at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional hosted by Augustana College at Saukie Golf Course.

The Green Knights finished with 578 points to finish 19th out of 39 teams. North Central College won the championship with 37 points, while UW-Platteville was second with 86 points. UW-Stevens Point was third with 114 points.

Alex DeVillers was St. Norbert's top finisher, placing 95th with a time of 25 minutes 58 seconds over the 8-kilometer course. Alex Kimble was right behind in 96th place finishing seven-tenths of a second behind DeVilers.

Seth Hawkins placed 112nd with 26:15, and Michael Linzmeier was 125th in 26:27. Nathan Heppe finished 151st in 26:53 to complete the Green Knights' scoring.

James Gilbertson finished in 172nd with a time of 27:15, while Matthew Reynders was 205th in 28:14.
