Sjoquist Named Third Team All-Region by D3football.com

DE PERE - St. Norbert College junior defensive back Dan Sjoquist has been named third team All-West Region by D3football.com.

Sjoquist was a first-team All-Midwest Conference choice this past fall and was tied for second on the team in tackles with 58, including 5.5 for a loss. Sjoquist also had four interceptions with three blocked kicks and led the team in kickoff return average at 20.0 yards per return.

Sjoquist was also named a second-team Academic All-America selection following the season.

St. Norbert finished the 2010 season at 7-4 overall and won the outright Midwest Conference championship with a 7-2 record.
