Green Knights Fall Late at Lake Forest

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College had its winning streak snapped at three games when it dropped a 3-2 decision to Lake Forest College in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Alumni Memorial Rink.
The Green Knights fell to 7-7-1 overall and 4-5-1 in the NCHA, while the Foresters improved to 8-3-1, 4-3-1. St. Norbert won the series opener Saturday 3-1.
Lake Forest picked up the win when Jessica Dare scored her second goal of the third period, with the decisive marker coming with 3 minutes 38 seconds left to play. Dare had given Lake Forest a 2-1 lead at the 7:04 mark of the frame, but Andrea Senne's unassisted goal with 4:08 left tied the score at 2-2.
The Foresters scored first, with Maeve Connelly scoring at 1:45 of the second period. Tarraneh Dadgar's power-play goal at 6:54 of the second knotted the score at one. Senne and Danielle Rozon picked up assists on the goal.
Lake Forest outshot St. Norbert 23-21. Katie Aluia made 20 saves for the Green Knights, while Stacey Dierking made 19 stops for the Foresters. St. Norbert was 1-for-3 on the power play, while Lake Forest was 0-for-1.
