St. Norbert Opens Season at UW-Whitewater

WHITEWATER - St. Norbert College got its indoor track and field season underway with an unscored dual meet at UW-Whitewater.

The Green Knights had several top-two finishes.

Nathan Heppe won the 600-meter run with a time of 1:24.57, while Jordan Gobert claimed the pole vault title by clearing a height of 4.27 meters.

St. Norbert won both relay events. The Green Knights won the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:46.51, and the 4x400 relay won with a time of 3:32.95.

Mackenzie Laska was the runner-up in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:02.94. Mike Verfuerth placed second in the 55-meter hurdles in 8.11 seconds.
