Schudrowitz Out to Defend NCAA 800-Meter Indoor Title This Weekend

DE PERE - St. Norbert College junior Emily Schudrowitz will seek a second consecutive national championship in the 800-meter run this weekend at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championship at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.

Schudrowitz won last year's championship with a time of 2 minutes 9.24 seconds. Her best time in the 800 this season was a 2:10.70 at the Grand Valley State Big Meet on Feb. 11.

Schudrowitz, who is the third seeding in the 15-entrant field, will compete in the preliminaries at 7:35 p.m. EST Friday. The final is set for 6:20 p.m. EST Saturday.
