Schudrowitz Misses Cut at NCAA Indoor 800

COLUMBUS, Ohio - St. Norbert College junior Emily Schudrowitz will not get a chance to defend her 800-meter run national championship after missing the cut during trials at this year's NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championship at Capital University.

Schudrowitz, who won last year's title in a time of 2 minutes 9.24 seconds, finished fourth in her heat in 2:15.15. Loras College's Laura Rieger was the last qualifier at 2:14.59, and was third in Schudrowitz's heat. The College of New Jersey's Meryl Wimberley had the top trial time of 2:12.28.
