KISSIMMEE, Fla. - St. Norbert College lost two games at the Rebel Spring Games, falling to nationally ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges 5-1 and Millkin University 4-3.

The Green Knights (0-4) held a 1-0 lead going into the bottom of the fourth inning before the Athenas rallied for five runs in frame. Morgan Buboltz drove in St. Norbert's lone run in the first. Gizelle Pera had a three-run home run and Olivia Jacobs a two-run double for C-M-S (17-3), ranked 15th in the latest NFCA Division III Top 25.

Steph Brunette and Kristin Zimmerman were both 2-for-3 for St. Norbert, while Kayla Krueger was 2-for-4. Kari Corbeille took the loss for St. Norbert, allowing nine hits in four innings with five strikeouts and no walks.

The Green Knights trailed 4-2 going into the bottom of the sixth against Millikin, and after Zimmerman's RBI single still had the bases loaded with nobody out. But three consecutive strikeouts quelled the rally.

Krueger went 3-for-3 for St. Norbert, and also took the loss in the circle. Brunette was 2-for-4 for the Green Knights.
