DE PERE - St. Norbert College junior Emily Schudrowitz will compete at the 2011 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships held Thursday through Saturday at Ohio Wesleyan University's Selby Field in Delaware, Ohio.

Schudrowitz is the fifth seeding in the 22-person field in the 800-meter run. Her top time of 2 minutes 11.09 seconds came Friday at the North Central College Last Chance Meet. Schudrowitz, a Wauwatosa native, finished sixth at last year's NCAA outdoor meet after winning the national indoor title in the event earlier in the spring.

The women's 800-meter preliminary heats are set for 7:15 p.m. CDT on Friday. The 800-meter final will be run at 2:30 p.m. CDT Saturday.

The 4x400-meter relay team narrowly missed qualifying for the national meet at North Central, running a school-record time of 3:54.63, just over a second shy of the final qualifying time. Jaclyn Kerner, Emily Schudrowitz, Calli Nonnemacher and Megan Domnick were the relay's foursome.

The 4x100-meter relay team also set a school record at North Central in 49.01 seconds. Kerner, Kari Braatz, Nonnemacher and Maddy Nelson ran in that race.
