WAUKESHA - St. Norbert College ran into a tough Pacific Lutheran University side on its final game of a three-game road trip to Wisconsin and fell 7-1 to the Lutes in a non-conference game at Carroll University's Schneider Stadium.

Pacific Lutheran (3-0), the preseason favorite to win the Northwest Conference, led 4-0 at halftime and cruised to the win. St. Norbert fell to 0-2.

Trevor Scales scored St. Norbert's lone goal on a penalty kick during the 78th minute after the Lutes were whistled for a handball in the penalty area. Spencer Augustin and Chad Kearns scored a pair of goals apiece for Pacific Lutheran.

The Lutes held a 23-4 shots-on-goal advantage as well as a 9-1 edge in corner kicks. Noah Davis made two saves in the first half for St. Norbert, while Scott Faul made four stops in the final 45 minutes. Joe Rayburn had one save for Pacific Lutheran.
