St. Norbert Starts UW-Oshkosh Tournament 2-0

OSHKOSH - St. Norbert College opened the UW-Oshkosh Tournament with a 2-0 showing after topping Lake Forest College and Concordia University Wisconsin at Kolf Sports Center.

The Green Knights (3-3) beat the Foresters 25-14, 25-19, 17-25, 25-14 in the opener before defeating the Falcons 25-18, 25-17, 25-17.

Against the Foresters, Catherine Guido shined defensively with 28 digs and added three service aces. Danielle Remy had seven kills and four blocks, while Abby West had 14 assists.

Remy had 11 kills and two blocks against Concordia, and Guido registered 22 digs. West finished the match with 12 assists and Emily Rohde had 11 assists.

St. Norbert will face UW-Oshkosh at 11 a.m. Saturday, and a win over the Titans would give St. Norbert the pool championship. The Green Knights will play a placement match at 1 p.m. regardless of the outcome of the Oshkosh match.
