Green Knights Can't Hold Off Edgewood

DE PERE - St. Norbert College took an early lead but couldn't hold off visiting Edgewood College, falling 4-1 to the Eagles in a non-conference match at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights (0-3) took a 1-0 lead on Sam Gordon's penalty kick at the 35 minutes 44 seconds mark. Edgewood (2-1-2) answered just under three minutes later when Evan Conrad teed up a direct kick and knocked home the goal at 38:32.

Edgewood took control in the second half, scoring three goals 15 minutes apart. Andrew Aurit, Matt Pampuch and Kelmend Isaj all scored for the Eagles.

The Eagles outshot St. Norbert 17-8 and held a 3-1 corner kicks advantage. Scott Faul made four saves in goal for St. Norbert, while Matt Dammen made two stops for Edgewood.
