GALESBURG, Ill. - St. Norbert College swept a pair of non-conference matches against Midwest Conference foes with an 8-1 win over Knox College and a 9-0 win over Monmouth College at Knox.

The Green Knights (3-2) swept the doubles matches against the Prairie Fire. Kelly Van Handel and Nancy Chybowski topped Megan Funk and Charlotte Garvin 8-6 at No. 1. Maria Slusarek and Laura Michel beat Jordan Kuban and Katie Beadling 9-8 (7-4) at No. 2, followed by Callie Schroeder and Maggie Berens' 8-5 win over Emily Tyl and Rachel Clark at No. 3.

Van Handel swept Funk 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1 singles, followed by Chybowski's 6-1, 6-1 win over Kuban at No. 2. Reardon beat Beadling 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4, while Ariel Bloniarz topped Tyl 6-3, 6-1 at No. 5. Slusarek closed out the singles wins with a 7-5, 6-1 win over Sarah Bolitho at No. 6.

St. Norbert had little trouble dispensing with Monmouth as the Scots had to default three matches due to a short roster. Van Handel and Chybowski beat Kristen Huffman and Tessa Ginn 8-2 at No. 1 doubles, followed by Slusarek and Michel's 8-0 win over Amanda Buck and Kortney Rupp at No. 2.

Schroeder and Reardon both posted 6-0, 6-0 wins over Buck and Rupp at Nos. 3 and 4 singles, respectively. Van Handel beat Huffman 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 and Chybowski beat Ginn 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2.
