St. Norbert Top Division III Finisher at Augustana Invitational

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - St. Norbert College finished as the top NCAA Division III finisher at the Augustana College Brissman-Lundeen Invitational held at Saukie Golf Course.

The Green Knights placed fourth out of 27 teams with a total of 135 points. NAIA member Olivet Nazarene University won the meet with 51 points. A pair of NCAA Division II teams took second and third, with Truman State University scoring 71 points and Lewis University totaling 135 points. Lewis got the third-place nod with a higher-placing sixth runner. Truman State's Karen Grauel won the meet with a time of 21 minutes 53 seconds.

St. Norbert's Mackenzie Weber led the Green Knights with a 12th-place finish in a time of 22:41. Amanda Whipple was 21st with a time of 23:06, followed by Kelsey Timm's 27th-place finish in 23:18.

Hannah Andrekus was 39th with a time of 23:36, and Erin McShea completed the Green Knights' scoring in 43rd place with a time of 23:40.

Rounding out St. Norbert's top seven runners were Emily Erickson's 69th-place finish in 24:09 and Elvia Martinez with a 73rd-place finish in 24:12.
