Green Knights Take Down UW-Stevens Point

STEVENS POINT - St. Norbert College improved to 4-2 on the season with a 7-2 win over UW-Stevens Point in a non-conference match.

The Green Knights won two of three doubles matches before taking five of the six singles matches.

Nancy Chybowski and Emily Rasmussen topped the Pointers' Monica Preisig and Allison Fortier 8-6 at No. 2 doubles. Callie Schroeder and Maggie Berens beat Katelyn PResti and Molly Hendries 8-5 at No. 3 doubles.

Schroeder earned a win over Taylor Weuve in a marathon match at No. 2 singles, scoring a 6-7 (4-7), 7-6 (7-1), 10-7 triumph. Anna Reardon beat Presti 6-3, 6-3 at No. 3 singles, followed by Maria Slusarek's 2-6, 6-3, 13-11 win over Preisig at No. 4.

Ariel Bloniarz topped Fortier 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 singles, and Brittany Dudzik beat Hendries by the same score at No. 6.
