Green Knights Finish 16th at UW-Eau Claire Invitational

COLFAX - St. Norbert College finished in 16th place competing against several solid teams at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational held at Whitetail Golf Course.

The Green Knights totaled 475 points to finish 16th among 22 teams. UW-La Crosse won the meet with 49 points, followed by St. Olaf College's runner-up total of 79 points. UW-Stout's Tim Nelson won the meet with a time of 24:37. A total of 372 runners competed.

Brady Bemis led St. Norbert with a 125th-place finish, scoring 86th, with a time of 27:24. Nathan Heppe was 129th with a time of 27:28, followed by Augie Yates' 157th-place finish in 27:43. Hayden Hoffman was 164th in 27:47, followed by Benny Swift in 177th place in 27:57.

Rounding out the Green Knights' top seven was Alex Clemetson finishing in 266th place in 29:11 and Justin Fote in 274th place in 29:25.
