St. Norbert Wraps Up Fall Season at Viterbo Invitational

ONALASKA - St. Norbert College wrapped up the fall portion of the 2011-12 men's golf season with an eighth-place finish against strong competition at the Viterbo University Ronnie Eastman Invitational at La Crosse Country Club.

The Green Knights shot a 332-326--658 to finish eighth out of 11 teams. Grand View University White shot a lusty 292-285--577, which was 1-over par, to win the tournament. Viterbo's Shawn Keenan fired a 73-70--143 to finish as the medalist at 1-under par. A total of 59 golfers participated int he 36-hole event.

Evan Mass led St. Norbert with an 81-74--155 to finish in a tie for 20th place. Nic Vrubley was tied for 30th iwth a 77-81--158. Erik Voss was tied for 44th with an 87-84--171. Shawn Geier was 48th with an 87-87--174, while Justin Trepes was 58th with a 98-101--199.
