St. Norbert Finishes Fifth at Midwest Conference Tournament

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - St. Norbert College finished in fifth place at the 2011 Midwest Conference Championship Tournament. The 54-hole event was held at the par-72, 5.824-yard The Rail Golf Course.
The Green Knights finished the tournament with a 393-402-377--1172 for their fifth place finish. Carroll University won the conference title with a 338-337-330--1005 to finish 17 strokes ahead of second-place Grinnell College. Carroll's Angelina Parrinello was the conference's individual champion with a score of 82-76-79--237.
St. Norbert was led by Kathleen Geraghty's 280, which tied for 17th place. Geraghty shot rounds of 90-99-91 during the tournament. Alexis Klinger shot a 92-99-98--289 to finish in a tie for 23rd, while Kelley Kletti was 25th with a score of 103-97-96--296.
Jessica Rogers finished 27th with a 108-107-92--307, and Erin Treankler was 34th with a 133-133-137--403.
