Green Knights Keep Rolling in Conference Action

BELOIT - St. Norbert College remained undefeated in the Midwest Conference with a three-set win over Beloit College at Flood Arena. The Green Knights topped the Buccaneers 25-13, 25-9, 28-26.

The Green Knights ran their MWC record to 5-0 and are 18-5 overall. Beloit remained winless on the season with an 0-5 league mark and is 0-18 overall.

St. Norbert hit a blistering .434 for the match, getting 40 kills with seven errors in 76 attempts. The Green Knights hit .500 (16-2-28) in the first set and .474 (10-1-19) in the second set.

Breanne Brocker and Danielle Remy each had 10 kills. Remy finished with a glittering .643 hitting percentage, with only one error in 14 attempts. Abby West ended with 17 assists and Emily Rohde added 10. Catherine Guido had nine digs. Remy and Heidi Spies each had four blocks.

Rachel Skoza had seven kills for Beloit, which hit .098 (31-22-92) for the match. Carolyn Stransky had 28 assists for the Buccaneers.
