Green Knights Off to 2-0 Start In Stevens Point

STEVENS POINT - St. Norbert College opened the UW-Stevens Point Tournament with a 2-0 start, posting a pair of four-set wins over Carroll University and Augustana College.

St. Norbert (21-5), which has won 18 of its last 19 matches, topped Carroll 25-15, 25-17, 18-25, 25-19. The Green Knights then defeated Augustana 25-18, 25-18, 22-25, 25-21.

The Green Knights hit .374 (53-16-99) against Carroll, with Danielle Remy getting 16 kills and Breanne Brocker 13. Catherine Guido had 48 digs, while Brocker had 25 and Mary Kate Manion 22. Remy and Heidi Spies both had five blocks. Carley Valentine had 37 assists.

Against Augustana, Remy finished the match hitting .714, getting 17 kills with two errors in 21 attempts. Gudio finished with 37 digs, while Abby West had 41 assists. Remy added seven blocks against the Vikings.
