STEVENS POINT - St. Norbert College lost twice to UW-Stevens Point on the final day of the UW-Stevens Point Tournament at Berg Gym. In a scheduling quirk, the Green Knights lost a five-set match to complete round-robin play. Since the two teams were the top finishers in round-robin action, they turned around to immediately play a championship match, which the Pointers claimed in four sets.

The Green Knights (21-7) won the first two sets in the opener before falling 15-25, 19-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-13. The Pointers (23-6) then claimed the second match 23-25, 25-15, 25-14, 25-16.

In the opener, Breanne Brocker had 17 kills, Alex Bresser 12 and Danielle Remy 11 for an offense that hit .236 (56-23-140). Abby West had 43 assists, while Catherine Guido had 53 digs. Remy finished with six blocks and Lindsay Wiebe had five blocks.

In the second match, the Green Knights got eight kills from Remy and six from Bresser. Carley Valentine had 18 assists, while Guido had 23 digs. Remy had five blocks.
